ANTIPODE
Pricing & features / 2026

The cloud bills you every month.
ANTIPODE charges you once.

Recording, transcription, AI summaries and AI chat all run on your phone. It never touches the network — so there's no reason to charge a subscription. Here's an honest side-by-side with Otter, Notta, AudioPen and PLAUD.

What you pay over 3 years (cumulative)

Total spend if you keep each plan. Subscriptions keep climbing; pay-once stays flat.

An honest note on accuracy

We deliberately don't publish a side-by-side "transcription accuracy %". No shared, like-for-like public benchmark exists across these tools, so any number would be made up. Here's what's true instead.

  • Big cloud models generally win on raw transcription accuracy. They run enormous models on servers — of course they do. We're not going to pretend otherwise.
  • ANTIPODE's on-device models are good enough for daily use. Transcribing and summarizing meetings, lectures and voice memos, plus light Q&A over your own notes — it holds up. Japanese uses ReazonSpeech, trained on a ~35,000-hour corpus.
  • The AI chat is roughly 2023-era in quality. Great for talking through ideas and summarizing; not a match for a frontier model at coding or hard reasoning. A daily-driver brain, not a frontier one.
  • What you get in return is a guarantee: nothing leaves the device. You trade some accuracy for the structural certainty that your voice and notes stay yours.

Which one is for you

Honestly — ANTIPODE isn't the right pick for everyone.

ANTIPODE fits you if

Your recordings can't leave the device (NDAs, medical, legal, journaling). You need it offline or in the air. You're done with subscriptions. You want to choose your own model and ASR. Your main phone is Android with 8GB+ RAM.

A cloud tool fits you if

You want the highest possible accuracy. You need it on iPhone or desktop too. You want a bot to auto-join Zoom/Teams calls. You share and co-edit with a team. Your phone is short on RAM. These are genuinely the cloud tools' strengths.

Try it in airplane mode first.

Every feature still works. That's the proof it's really offline.
